RESEARCH MODE (MOD
PENYELIDIKAN)
Candidates pursuing
a research-based degree programme are required to
undertake a research project under the supervision
of an academic staff and if necessary a co- supervisor
or field supervisor is appointed by the University.
At the end of the research programme, candidates
are required to submit a thesis to be examined by
internal and external examiners. Applications and
registration for research-based programmes are open
throughout the year.

- MIXED MODE (MOD
CAMPURAN)
Candidate registered for a mixed mode programme
is required to start the programme of study by pursuing
selected courses in the chosen programme of study
and at the end of which sit for an examination.
Following the successful completion of the relevant
Course work component, the candidate may assigned
a research project leading to the submission of
a dissertation for examination. A candidate also
may be allowed to pursue course work and research
activity concurrently. The application for a mix
mode Programme has to be made before the academic
year. Registration is semester-based with new candidates
beginning at the start of the academic year.

- COURSEWORK
(MOD
KERJA KURSUS)
Course
work-based degree programmes require the candidate
to attend formal lectures and tutorials as well
as take part in research projects, seminars and
such other academic activities assigned by the schools/centres
concerned. Candidate will be required to sit for
examinations for the courses registered at the end
of each semester. Registration is semester-based
with new candidates beginning at the start of the
academic year.
